In highschool I had a thing for Joan Miro in relation to abstract art I liked

At the end of year 12 I started ripping paper into these organic shapes that looked like organisms and I would collage these shapes together using anything from cellophane to newspaper to scraps of magazines or coloured paper. I'd draw on top in pencil and associate each work with a sentence or too about my feelings that related abstractly to the shapes and organisms I was creating. Today in my art practice I still have an interest in organs and living organisms. The work I did at the end of year 12 resembled cells of some sort. I've always been interested in the body in art and the living.
